This beautiful coastal waterway in the Shoalhaven region is an aquatic playground, with a range of water sports on offer. Go fishing, kayaking, waterskiing and wakeboarding on Lake Conjola. On the northern side of this deep lake, discover fun cycling tracks that weave through Conjola National Park.

Surfers will be impressed with the breaks off Green Island, found at the mouth of the lake and just below Cunjurong Point. On the southern side of the lake is a small village named after the sparkling waterway. Boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for hire from Lake Conjola Post Office Store.

Learn how to waterski or wakeboard with Walking on Water and explore the Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve adjacent to Lake Conjola village. A top mountainbiking track is the Monument Beach ride from Bendalong through Conjola National Park. At the end of the day, enjoy a meal at the Lake Conjola Bowling Club.

Burrawang track is a scenic 2km walking track from Conjola Beach to Buckleys Point, taking in coastal wetlands and rainforest. You can also join a guided walking tour of the area with Conjola Tours, on which you’ll enjoy stunning views, learn about local indigenous heritage and see lots of wildlife.

Lake Conjola is three hours’ drive from Sydney along the spectacular NSW South Coastand 2h 45min from Canberra.
