Dolphin Point is surrounded by natural bushland, its unspoilt beauty provides excellent fishing spots and safe boating, sailing and windsurfing. A great starting place for all of your South Coast experiences. Its location next to Burrill Lake means you can enjoy both rugged surf beaches on the point and calm beaches on the inlet to the lake. Dolphin Point Beach is a rocky beach frequented by local surfers. The lookout off of Seaside Parade is a great spot for whale watching as well as checking the surf conditions. There are no swimming spots at this beach due to the rock platform, however it is a good place to fish. You may choose to take the nearby walking track to get to the northern end of Wairo Beach.
Take the family down to the lions park to break out the bikes and burn some energy or have a family BBQ.
