Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this coastal hamlet on the NSW South Coast is a haven for swimming, surfing, fishing and bushwalking. Bawley Point is tucked into a sublime stretch of coastline in the Shoalhaven region, with beautiful beaches, spectacular national parks, a winery and berry farm on its doorstep.

Just north of Bawley Point is Termeil Beach in the Meroo National Park, where the Meroo Head lookout walking track offers spectacular views. Termeil Lake is a tranquil spot for swimming and fishing.
South of Bawley Point is Murramarang National Park, plus more great beaches, walking tracks and the Murramarang Aboriginal Area, a reserve protecting a large midden and other indigenous artefacts. Pretty Beach lives up to its name, with the scenic Pretty Beach to Snapper Point walking track providing great coastal views.
Then there’s Pebbly Beach, famous for its resident eastern grey kangaroos. Like other national park beaches in the area, there’s a campground next to the beach. At nearby Depot Beach, enjoy the Rock Platform walk at low tide and stroll through a towering rainforest on the Depot Beach Rainforest walk.
Taste award-winning wines at Bawley Vale Estate, a short journey from Bawley Point. Part of the Shoalhaven Coast wine region, the cellar door is open on weekends and public holidays. An hour’s drive west is Clyde River Berry Farm, where you can pick your own berries, and buy jams and local bush honey.
Bawley Point, and the nearby villages of Kioloa and Termeil, are located halfway between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay. It’s a 3h 30min drive from Sydney and a little over two hours from Canberra.
